Explananda is a new mall concept that combines retail, mixed commercial use spaces and entertainment. You can do anything and everything here from ice skating, to working out, from grocery shopping to catching an amazing concert, or even drag racing or floating above it all in a real hot air balloon! At Explanada it’s everything all at once and it’s the first step in redefining a new city center for families to enjoy and visit multiple times a week. Their tagline, ‘Vive de Todo’, is meant to inspire locals to "live everything”.

I led the small but scrappy team as we created Evergreen content for screen areas throughout the mall. It was a super crazy and super fun shoot. The result was comprised of 45 square video assets full of live action, stock and 2D animation that could be played completely at random in an endless amount of grid formations through a unique playback system. Each video tile shows what you can do here, expect here, and of course what you can buy here. Taken all together, the rich tapestry communicates the spirit of Explanada: every day (and every experience) will always be unexpected and unique.
